My accidental fiction revisited ~ Footnotes and Anecdotes quotes week 20

footnotes and anecdotes week 20 life quotes blog linky

…for the love of words…

My accidental fiction started when I took my ‘footnote’ one week and created Frank and Louise.  They’re expecting twins, which was rather a shock (to them and to me!).  Louise has embraced it and is looking at everything while thinking ‘babies’, while Frank is beginning to feel left out.
Why did I create these characters in this situation?  Well, It just sort of ‘happened’ and now I enjoy the challenge of letting the words of the ‘footnote’ take me where they do… the beauty for me being that I have no idea where they are going to be taken until I randomly choose my ‘footnote’!
Just this once, to get my head back into ‘the situation’, I will share the next installment of Frank and Louise this coming Sunday.  Subscribe now, using the box in the top right sidebar!  Thereafter, each installment will be posted up when the new linky goes live.

So, this month’s ‘footnote’ is:
The chief requirement of the good life, is to live without any image of oneself.
Iris Murdoch, 1919-1999, English novelist
