Excited? Very! Already nervous? Oh yes! Privileged and honoured? Most definately!

Well what am amazing year so far!  I do my very best to stay positive. Instead of procrastinating, I try to put my plans into action.  So why has my year been amazing so far?  Well, I’ve been invited by Action on Pre-Eclampsia to give a presentation/talk about my pregnancy experience at one of their midwife study days, I’ve got a 5 star book review on Amazon AND a cover for my next book in the pipeline.  Happy, happy, happy!

Back to the presentation for APEC.  It really is a privilege and an honour to be giving a talk to professionals.  Raising awareness is exactly what I said I wanted to do 3 years ago when our little girl was given a rude awakening into the world.  I wanted to do something to say ‘thank you’ for every single one of the amazing NHS staff who worked together to give us a happy ending when it could all have been so different.  Giving my time and energy to present my pregnancy journey is a great way of saying ‘thank you’!

Excited? Very!  Already nervous? Oh yes!  Privileged and honoured?  Most definitely!
