Footnotes and Anecdotes ~ Week 10 quotes

footnotes and anecdotes week 10 quote blog

…for the love of words ~ quotes

“An editor is one who separates the wheat from the chaff and prints the chaff.“
Adlai Stevenson, 1900-1965, American Statesman.
Given that I’ve chatted (virtually) to people about their editing processes this week, I felt this was an appropriate footnote for this week!   I came to the conclusion that I tend to be a bit of a ‘hit and run’ writer, due to the amount of creative ideas battling out for attention in my head.  It’s also due to ‘being in the flow’ and wanting to get my work ‘out there’.  And I like to write ‘raw’.  Okay that’s enough words in ‘apostrophes’ for now…  Here’s how I write what I write.
Which ‘Footnote and Anecdote’ would you like to add?
