How to be crafty with festive paper chains!

How to be crafty with festive paper chains ~

Little Bear style…

First up, if you’re a regular reader (thank you!), but haven’t seen my ’emerging merger’ post for MummyBearsBlog yet, hop over here and this post will make sense (I hope!).  If you’re not a regular reader, welcome to my newly merged blog ‘Virtually All Sorts’ where you will find all sorts of thoughts on writing and parenting’.  All is explained in this post here…

And now onto some festive crafts 🙂

I love this picture of our little bear making her very own festive paper chains for our Christmas tree!  She was actually poorly with the dreaded lurgy that has well and truly been doing the rounds in the Bear household.  This unfortunately meant a day off school which in turn meant cosying up on the sofa, trying to keep food and water down (!) and watching Black Beauty over and over, and over and over…

As lovely as it was to cosy up, it was even nicer to see her gradually perk up and become our little bear again.  She decided it was time for us to make paper chains to go on our Christmas tree and we were cutting, colouring, pasting and linking for a good couple of hours.

We had a lovely time and it certainly took her mind off being poorly 😉
