My Word of the Week is… chocca !

word of the week chocca busy hectic productive blog

You would be forgiven for thinking that I’d spelt the word ‘chocolate’ wrong or abbreviated it or something.  That’s not the case because my week has been quite simply full to the brim.

Full up with all sorts of everything!

On the blog front, it’s been very exciting partly because I’ve hosted my very first giveaway to win a voucher for some gemstone jewellery.  It’s going well and I’ll most definitely be doing more giveaways.  I have some up my sleeve already 🙂

Still on the blog, I’ve also introduced a very good virtual friend who did a guest post for me as part of #TheZenZing.  She’s a Certified Crystal Healer and I certainly learnt a lot about the best crystals to use for meditation by reading her post.  Which is handy because I’m currently undertaking a Crystal Healer Practitioner’s course myself!  Talking of which, I passed another assignment this week 🙂

In other news this week Our Little Bear got post from Buckingham Palace!  Yes, really!  And if an envelope postmarked Buckingham Palace doesn’t deserve a whole blog post to itself, then I don’t know what does… so look out for all the news on that next week 🙂 It’s most definitely worth it 😉

Talking of Our Little Bear, she has gone up another reading level at school.  That’s 2 more levels in the space of less than 2 weeks.  ‘Proud’ doesn’t even come close…

And then I shared where I’m at with my writing projects – 2 of which are pretty major to me.  There’s #TheNextBigThing about managing children’s emotions and a children’s series which I’m calling ‘F&W’ until I’m ready to reveal more, which should be at the end of June so not long.  Eeek!

Finally, I finished a ‘Quick Read’ book about life in the East End post-war.  (More on that at a later date too). It’s intriguing and thankfully it really was a quick read.  Which is just as well given that my week was indeed ‘chocca’!

How’s your week been?
