Time for a dose of happiness in #HighlightsofHappy blog linky #44 ~ because life’s for the good stuff

It's Time For A Dose Of Happiness In #HighlightsofHappy 44 Blog Linky Because Life's For The Good Stuff

Your weekly dose of happiness…

Let’s spread the happiness!

It’s a common phrase isn’t it?…

“Bad things come in 3’s”

or words similar to that!

So, let’s flip it because everyone deserves a little happiness … (you know how I love to spread happiness and turn a negative into a positive with positive thinking !)

Let’s spread that happiness and find 3 things to be grateful for (or even more… well, why not?!)

It's Time For A Dose Of Happiness In #HighlightsofHappy 44 Blog Linky Because Life's For The Good Stuff

In my weekly feature, I look back over my gratitude journal because that’s the great thing about gratitude and using my gratitude journal – it gives me the opportunity to look back and be grateful all over again 🙂  And that’s what I do here, in my weekly feature, I look back and on my #HighlightsofHappy.

I round it off with one word that sums up my happy…  why not do the same?

If you’re a blogger, why not share your happy post from the last week or so in the linky below?

If you’re on instagram, why not tag your happy snap #HighlightsofHappy and link up your pic in the linky below?

If you’re on twitter, why not tweet your happy with #HighlightsofHappy ?

If you’re all 3, why not do all 3??  The linky is below. (To link your insta happy snap, simply click on your insta pic, copy the url and paste into the linky tool!)

(If you join in with my #HighlightsofHappy community on instagram, I post up my favourite snaps every Monday on instagram.)

…so what’s been making ME happy?

Sharing our favourite parts in the first Harry Potter book 🙂 (myself and our daughter that is, hubby wouldn’t have a clue!)
For various plans over the coming weeks.
To have time with my family on a random trip.  A total bonus that it included skimming stones and ice cream!
For ordering new glasses.  A change of prescription explains a few headaches lately.  But I’m grateful for healthy eyes nonetheless because we’ve got glaucoma in our family and they can tell so much from your eyes can’t they?

and this…

For being there for a friend when they wanted to talk about their troubles.
Despite the constant rain this week, I’ve found the lighter showers quite refreshing!
For getting our girl lego cards!
And sorting out another sleepover

~

So that’s my happy and my happy word is ‘trip’ because randomness is good and when it involves spending quality time with your family, it’s even better…

And how about you?  I’d love to hear about your ‘happy’ in the comments below or tweet me @AllSortsHere using #HighlightsofHappy

Go on, share your happy with me!

…Just like the lovely Sue from Sizzling Towards 60  did recently.  She shared this lovely collection of thoughts on being a grandmother.

  1. Aspen and April had some fried sleep the other night, it’s fun within them enjoy their friendships and form bonds. My son has his best friend sleeping over for the first time this Friday, hoping he goes alright as this little boy has never slept over anywhere before. But he is here all the time and loves hugging me so I think we’ll be fine. It is so important to look at what is making us happy. Take care and have a lovely week. Thanks for always supporting #mg too

  2. What am I grateful for? That I get to go home on Saturday. I’ve been in Sydney all week & the reminders of why we left are all around me. I’m missing my morning walks, my beach, my husband, daughter & dog… & working from home. On the bright side, Sydney is at its best in May!

  3. Love that you have a gratitude journal and those are all awesome things to be grateful for. This week I am grateful for a friend who is a real estate agent that I can trust who looked after my recently divorced sister and helped her with the purchase of a new house for herself and her two kids. Also grateful that settlment went through smoothly and that my sister and kids will have a safe new home in which to begin their new life. #teamlovinlife
