Time for a dose of happiness in #HighlightsofHappy blog linky #43 ~ because life’s for the good stuff

It's Time For A Dose Of Happiness In #HighlightsofHappy 43 Blog Linky Because Life's For The Good Stuff Priceless

Your weekly dose of happiness…

Let’s spread the happiness!

It’s a common phrase isn’t it?…

“Bad things come in 3’s”

or words similar to that!

So, let’s flip it because everyone deserves a little happiness … (you know how I love to spread happiness and turn a negative into a positive with positive thinking !)

Let’s spread that happiness and find 3 things to be grateful for (or even more… well, why not?!)

In my weekly feature, I look back over my gratitude journal because that’s the great thing about gratitude and using my gratitude journal – it gives me the opportunity to look back and be grateful all over again 🙂  And that’s what I do here, in my weekly feature, I look back and on my #HighlightsofHappy.

I round it off with one word that sums up my happy…  why not do the same?

If you’re a blogger, why not share your happy post from the last week or so in the linky below?

If you’re on instagram, why not tag your happy snap #HighlightsofHappy and link up your pic in the linky below?

If you’re on twitter, why not tweet your happy with #HighlightsofHappy ?

If you’re all 3, why not do all 3??  The linky is below. (To link your insta happy snap, simply click on your insta pic, copy the url and paste into the linky tool!)

(If you join in with my #HighlightsofHappy community on instagram, I post up my favourite snaps every Monday on instagram.)

…so what’s been making ME happy?

Our daughter giving me daily updates on which page she’s up to in her 1st Harry Potter book!  She actually finished it last night and asked me if I’d like to read it again.  So of course, I said yes.  This means that I’ve got 3 books on the go, which never happens but it makes her happy so that makes me happy, and that makes her happy again.  And if we’re both happy, that makes hubby happy!! 🙂
When she got her book, she loved looking at the map…
For seeing our girl in her classroom in an English workshop.

and this…

Completely off her own back, our daughter told me that she loves living where we do, that she loves her school and her friends.  There was no prompting from me whatsoever.  As a family that’s been on a rollercoaster ride in the past 18 months (one that’s settled down now, mind you!), to hear her say that is actually completely priceless.
But talking of priceless… we got our car insurance quote through.  We like to pay in one go because it’s actually better value.  Over the past 12 months we’ve been putting a chunk aside every month and we’ve over-estimated which means that we’ve got a nice chunk of holiday spending money in our back pocket.

So that’s my happy and my happy word is ‘priceless’ because you know what?  Sometimes you really, truly can’t put a price on happiness…

And how about you?  I’d love to hear about your ‘happy’ in the comments below or tweet me @AllSortsHere using #HighlightsofHappy

Go on, share your happy with me!

…Just like the lovely Sue from Sizzling Towards 60  did.  She shared this great post recently on a yoga app and with it, the benefits of yoga

  1. Truth be told, I am happy I made it out of last week and can see the sunshine today! Thank you for this respite of happiness. A welcome sight for me and others in a world that requires more happiness. xxoxo

  2. We’re trying that at the moment – the whole putting money away in an account for bills thing. With this sea change we both gave up senior well paying roles, so budgeting well is a must. Having said that, writing my daily forecasts on the beach rather than the bus? That’s priceless.
