How are you doing with your resolutions and goals?
Were they set at the beginning of the year?
Or did you say to yourself…
I said that to myself and I started my gratitude journal in December one year instead of 1st of January! It helps me to focus on my happiness each week.
It’s such a great tool for focussing on gratitude that I thought “why wait?”
I saw little point in waiting because…
When you wait you do nothing,
you make time stand still.
You don’t tick or tock,
you procrastinate at will.
When time stands still,
the world still moves on…
Life goes on around you
it waits for no one.
If you wait for a chance
you’re a fool to be sure;
you should try all the locks
to open the door!
For when you wait, you do nothing,
chances are you’ll lose out;
don’t wait, you can do it,
of that there’s no doubt…

Do you procrastinate or are you a ‘the time is now’ person? I’d love to know! Please comment below or tweet me @AllSortsHere

I love that great minds have thought alike, and we have a few takes on ‘just get on with it’ ideas. Quite right! Life is what happens while you’re busy making plans.
Ooh, I’ll be popping over later to have a read Cara 🙂
Love this and completely agree with the sentiment. Waiting for the ‘right time’ is something I’m very guilty of and I’m working hard on changing that 🙂 Wishing you a very Happy New Year, and thank you so much for sharing with #ThePrompt x
Thanks Sara. I think we’re all guilty of it! It’s great to join in with your linky 🙂
Great words but I’m a terrible procrastinator I’m afraid! Should’ve made a resolution not to be.. 🙂
It’s never too late Lisa! 🙂
Perfectly put. Why wait to start anything? Just go for it! #ThePrompt
Precisely! 🙂
