Jump on board and #Readfor5Today

#ReadFor5Today
is all about making time to read.
It doesn’t matter if it takes you 5 days, 5 weeks or 5 months to finish that book. All books are different lengths and we all read at different speeds.

What matters is that we make time to read, every day. Whether that’s 5 lines, 5 paragraphs or 5 chapters, if it works for you… do it!

For me, reading is where it’s at; a time to relax, to escape, to kick-back. Time for me, reading what I want to read!

My #Readfor5Today facebook community is a supportive, closed group where you can tell us what you’re reading, be accountable and get support and cheerleading along the way. Please do share any inspirational posts or quotes that fit in with the feel of the group. Thanks for joining in to make reading YOUR aim.

And here I am, getting my act together and creating a poll for the March #Readfor5Today ! Yes, you read that right… March! That gives us a week to vote for which book to read and 3 weeks to find the book, whether that means ordering it online, reserving it from the library or borrowing it from a friend. The aim of this group of course, is to encourage us all to #Readfor5Today and every day, whether that’s for 5 minutes, 5 paragraphs or 5 chapters! Which one would YOU like to #Readfor5Today ?

Hop on over to my facebook group to vote for the March read!

  1. I’m getting back into reading real books which is great as I spent far too long reading online and watching box sets in my down time. I’m not on facebook but I will carry the spirit of reading for 5 everyday carol as I love the idea.
Thanks so much for linking up at #KCACOLS. Hope you come back again next time.

  2. I used to say that I would return to reading books (properly, like I did as a kid and teenager) once I retired… I’m not at the age of retirement yet, but I’m not working (well, I don’t have a paid job, but I’m a full-time carer and educator for our son so… ;-)). Still can’t find the time to read books. Hey-ho, maybe one day!? Like the concept of your reading group though x #KCACOLS
