My accidental fiction ~ Footnotes and Anecdotes quotes week 21

footnotes and anecdotes 21 inspiring life quotes flash fiction writing blog linky

…for the love of words…

My accidental fiction started when I took my ‘footnote’ one week and created Frank and Louise. Last month it was ‘The Time for What?’
Why did I create these characters in this situation?  Well, It just sort of ‘happened’ and now I enjoy the challenge of letting the words of the ‘footnote’ take me where they do… the beauty for me being that I have no idea where they are going to be taken until I randomly choose my ‘footnote’!

And this month’s ‘Footnote’ that will inspire Sunday’s instalment is:

A true gentleman is a man who knows how to play bagpipes – but doesn’t.

~ Anon

Stop by on Sunday for the next instalment and subscribe to make sure you don’t miss it – see top of right hand sidebar for subscription box.

Meanwhile, join in with your fictional version of the quote.  Write a blogpost (standalone or part of a series, any genre).  Please link back to my blog either by using the linky badge or a text link.  Then tweet your post when you’re linked up to me @AllSortsHere with #Footnotes (and #FlashinthePen if it’s flash fiction.)

Which ‘Footnote and Anecdote’ piece of fiction would you like to add?

Linky open 0600 every 2nd Monday for 2 weeks.

And in case you missed it at the beginning of this blogpost and would like to catch up before Sunday, here’s the last installment from Frank and Louise ~

“The Time for What?”
