Review ~ hand made furnishings to make you feel good from Bespoke Binny
The Bespoke Binny brand promises to “brighten up your home” with their colourful feel-good furnishings and it’s a British based business too.
The creator, Natalie Manima firmly believes that your home should show who you are and therefore be ‘bespoke’. Because bespoke means something is tailored to you, something you’ve made your own, something made for you, to make you feel good.
Therefore, ‘bespoke’ is vital to your personal wellbeing of alleviating stress and anxiety. I’m in!
Quality and feel
When I received my cushion cover, I immediately noticed the quality feel of the thick linen material used. Often, the patterns fade of wear off cushion covers over time when they are in good use. This will be in good use because it lives on our sofa and so more time will tell if this happens, but the initial feeling was one of quality.
When you visit the cushions shop on the website, you’re told that the cushions are made with ‘wax print cotton the front… and extra thick unbleached cotton twill on the back.’
This helps to give the cushion cover a look and feel of being sturdy.
Value for money?
The RRP of my pineapple cushion cover is £22.99 and I would usually hesitate to spend this on a cushion cover. But considering the quality of the material and production, it’s actually about the right price in my opinion.
It was easy to put the cover on the cushion, the cord ‘piping’ is very good quality and looks like it will stand the test of time and not come away from the cover.
I love the ‘handmade’ tag which gives the impression that love and care is behind the design and creation.
I also love the pineapple design which brings a touch of the exotic into my home with the nice vibrant colours, which aren’t too overwhelming for me and my home.
You can see more gorgeous products on their website such as notebooks and matching gift sets. You can also follow on Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest and Instagram.
