When I heard of hypnosis downloads by Hypnosis Ninja, I thought it sounded a bit gimmicky because I’ve seen a couple of hypnosis programmes on TV and I’m a bit sceptical. Despite this though, I wanted to give one of the downloads a go.
Which session to choose?
I chose the chocolate addiction session because I didn’t honestly know what the hypnotherapy entailed or what the effect would be on me. Being overly partial to chocolate and almost binging on it at times (especially at the weekends), chocolate is something that I often crave and I felt it needed to be more under control. Due to my fast metabolism, it’s not a problem weight-wise but energy peak and slump-wise, it’s a bit of an issue at times. So the chocolate session seemed like a good one to experiment with. There’s a whole myriad of sessions with a broad range of treatments and there appears to be something for almost everyone.
So what about the session?
Admittedly, I found the voice a bit off-putting at first but obviously soon got used to it because I fell asleep in the first 2 sessions! At the start, you’re advised that the words still get into you subconscious, so falling asleep is still effective. There’s emphasis on certain words and I don’t know the science but I do firmly believe in the subconscious and know that these sessions hae had some effect on my lust for chocolate! Which brings me onto the question…
Did it work?
I really haven’t fancied any chocolate or had a hankering (or even a craving for it!). I seem to be all about the savoury now! My sweet tooth’s still there but the thought of chocolate or the sight of a chocolate bar truly doesn’t get my mouth watering like it used to.
Worth the money?
At £9.99 for the download and access to thereafter at a time that suits you, in the comfort of your own home (or wherever you choose), that’s a very affordable therapy.
