Review ~ pendant and necklace by Kaya Jewellery
The tagline for Kaya Jewellery is ‘meaningful jewellery for baby, child and mum.’ And what could be more meaningful than having a piece of jewellery given to you as a gift and engraved too?
I was fortunate to be given a piece of beautiful jewellery to review and here it is:
Although my photography skills don’t do it justice, here you have a gold-plated pendant with a gold heart engraved with ‘C’.
What about the packaging?
The necklace was really well packaged and presented in the beautifully intricate little pouch that you see in the picture above.
It also came with a branded silver polishing cloth which was a nice touch.
And the pendant?
The pendant wasn’t quite what I was expecting from the product photo on the website. I had imagined the pendant to be more solid and a little bigger too. However, it’s well made, the engraving is good quality and the heart slides along the necklace fluidly without being too loose.
When worn, the necklace has 2 ‘setting’s (40 cm + 5 cms). By that I mean that it has 2 loops to hood your clasp up to. Which means that the necklace can be worn as a choker or a necklace. I thought this was a lovely touch and makes this piece of jewellery really versatile.
The necklace links are quite fine but they don’t feel flimsy and I wear mine with confidence.
Value for money?
The price of the piece is £32.95 which is a fair price and I would pay that myself because it’s well-made and the additional engraving gives it more value. An ideal gift for Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day or any occasion really!
Which piece of jewellery would you choose from their site? I’d love to know! Comment below or tweet me @AllSortsHere.
