Time for a dose of happiness in #HighlightsofHappy #90
In my weekly feature, I look back over my gratitude journal because that’s the great thing about gratitude and using my gratitude journal – it gives me the opportunity to look back and be grateful all over again 🙂 And that’s what I do here, in my weekly feature, I look back on my #HighlightsofHappy.
I round it off with one word that sums up my happy… why not do the same in my #HighlightsofHappy blog linky?
…so what’s been making ME happy?
Just getting to the school playground on time to see our daughter at the front of the line for school pick-up. I’ve never been late but time had run away from me and trust me, I was oh so grateful to have got there in the nick of time. For some, it’s probably no big deal but I don’t that I’ve forgotten her…
Our daughter’s story got chosen as one of the best by her teacher. She told me it’s a story about Pompeii and one of the girls dies, which I thought was a very mature story line. What’s more, she appears to have drawn inspiration from J.K. Rowling, saying that she’d used some of her phrases. Such a mature little girl. I’m so proud and while I love her doing well, I’d love time to slow down too!
So that’s my happy and this week my happy word is ‘story’ because you can encourage your child to be creative and write something but ultimately, it has to come from them and inspiration is a wonderful thing!
And how about you? I’d love to hear about your ‘happy’ in the comments below or tweet me @AllSortsHere using #HighlightsofHappy
Go on, share your happy with me!
