Time for a dose of happiness in #HighlightsofHappy blog linky #50 ~ because life’s for the good stuff

It's Time For A Dose Of Happiness In #HighlightsofHappy 50 Blog Linky Because Life's For The Good Stuff Refreshed

Your weekly dose of happiness…

Let’s spread the happiness!

It’s a common phrase isn’t it?…

“Bad things come in 3’s”

or words similar to that!

So, let’s flip it because everyone deserves a little happiness … (you know how I love to spread happiness and turn a negative into a positive with positive thinking !)

Let’s spread that happiness and find 3 things to be grateful for (or even more… well, why not?!)

In my weekly feature, I look back over my gratitude journal because that’s the great thing about gratitude and using my gratitude journal – it gives me the opportunity to look back and be grateful all over again 🙂  And that’s what I do here, in my weekly feature, I look back and on my #HighlightsofHappy.

I round it off with one word that sums up my happy…  why not do the same?

If you’re a blogger, why not share your happy post from the last week or so in the linky below?

If you’re on instagram, why not tag your happy snap #HighlightsofHappy and link up your pic in the linky below?

If you’re on twitter, why not tweet your happy with #HighlightsofHappy ?

If you’re all 3, why not do all 3??  The linky is below. (To link your insta happy snap, simply click on your insta pic, copy the url and paste into the linky tool!)

(If you join in with my #HighlightsofHappy community on instagram, I post up my favourite snaps every Monday on instagram.)

…so what’s been making ME happy?

A completely impromptu meal out with family.
For our daughter’s energy, excitement and enthusiasm about life in general.

and this…

For an early night and feeling more refreshed than I have for a long time.  I’d woken up with a headache/sinuses/hayfever/whatever it was!  And I managed to get through the day feeling pretty rough on and off.  So an early night was in order.  And I felt the benefits too, bliss!
For a nice surprise from our utility suppliers.  You know when you give your meter readings and they don’t seem to update straight away online?  You mean to log back in but forget.  Then, a week later you get the email to say that your account’s been updated and you open it with trepidation?  Well, even though we pay slightly over each month (can’t stand to be in debit!), you never really know, do you?  But hurray, no need to stress.  All is good!  Believe me, this could have totally spoilt 5 minutes of my day but it actually helped to make my day!

So that’s my happy and my happy word is ‘refreshed’ because I actually can’t remember the last time I had a really good night’s sleep, an early night and felt refreshed…  I could get used to it!

And how about you?  I’d love to hear about your ‘happy’ in the comments below or tweet me @AllSortsHere using #HighlightsofHappy

Go on, share your happy with me!

…Just like these people have

A summer bucket list from Jodie full of great ideas that you can mould to your own shape!

Lisa’s faith in humanity is restored and with good reason… look out for the heart on Gatsby the dog by the way!… too cute!

Deb throws some ideas into the ring for her 50th celebrations… including an inflatable bar!

I’m always a lover of a blue sky, no matter what the season and so is Leanne from Deep Fried Fruit!

Pop over for a read!

  1. My utilities are slightly less than they used to be since I moved (last September) because I have solar hot water (and I have big baths!!!) and I have a water tank and NO sewerage.

I’d actually prefer to have sewerage and my water tank is only used for outside (and I’m too slack to water things), toilets and washing machine.

But it does make a difference to my bills which is great.

  2. I’m with you on the joy of a good night’s sleep! I had my first night in a long time where I hit 7 hrs sleep (my fitbit tells me) and boy it made a difference. Now to do that again! 🙂 #TeamLovinLife

  3. What’s been making me happy? A weekend in Melbourne with my 19 year old daughter. We’ve had a tradition since she was little of spending (at first) a night or (later) a weekend away each year – just the 2 of us. We still do it & we still look forward to it.

  4. Great word for your week. I do try to have the odd early night as it does make a real difference, doesn’t it? I had an email from our electricity/gas supplier this week and had that same trepidation opening it! All’s fine, phew! Thanks for sharing with #WotW x
