Time for a dose of happiness in #HighlightsofHappy blog linky #71 ~ because life’s for the good stuff

Your weekly dose of happiness…

It’s a common phrase isn’t it?…

“Bad things come in 3’s”

or words similar to that!

So, let’s flip it because everyone deserves a little happiness … (you know how I love to spread happiness and turn a negative into a positive with positive thinking !)

Let’s spread that happiness and find 3 things to be grateful for (or even more… well, why not?!)

It's time for a dose of happiness in #HighlightsofHappy 41 blog linky because life's for the good stuff

In my weekly feature, I look back over my gratitude journal because that’s the great thing about gratitude and using my gratitude journal – it gives me the opportunity to look back and be grateful all over again 🙂  And that’s what I do here, in my weekly feature, I look back and on my #HighlightsofHappy.

I round it off with one word that sums up my happy…  why not do the same?

If you’re a blogger, why not share your happy post from the last week or so in the linky below?

If you’re on instagram, why not tag your happy snap #HighlightsofHappy and link up your pic in the linky below?

If you’re on twitter, why not tweet your happy with #HighlightsofHappy ?

If you’re all 3, why not do all 3??  The linky is below. (To link your insta happy snap, simply click on your insta pic, copy the url and paste into the linky tool!)

(If you join in with my #HighlightsofHappy community on instagram, I post up my favourite snaps every Monday on instagram.)

…so what’s been making ME happy?

It’s the simple things in life that make a difference and I can prove that!  After a couple of weeks of going on (and on!) about it to you lovely lot, our tumble drier was delivered.  We were advised by text it would be between 7 am and 10 am on the Saturday.  No problem, I told hubby.  You can lie in.  There’s no point in both of us being up.  And I meant it.  I just managed to get out of the shower with 5 minutes to spare when at 7 am on the dot, there was a knock on the door.  Hello new tumble drier!
Which means of course that I spent the weekend happily washing and drying 🙂
And because of that I feel like I’m back in control.  Like I said, it’s the simple things…
And on Saturday night hubby and I watched some comedy with a glass of vino in freshly washed and dried pj’s.  Bliss!

and this…

Off the tumble drier subject now (finally, I hear you say!).  I made bookmarks with our daughter.  Again, it’s the simple things.  All we needed was some paper and colouring pens to have fun together.  And she made me lovely bookmark. Love that girl!
Every week our daughter goes to a youth club.  When they found out in July who was in which class, she was not with her best friend and they were both really disappointed.  But it’s made us mums make more of an effort and as a result they both go to this club.  It’s so good for her for so many reasons… though she is going growing up too fast.  (and it gives me a bit of time for me once a week too!)  Win, win!

So that’s my happy and this week my happy word is ‘control’ because when the rug’s swept from under your feet and your routine’s out of sorts, it’s so nice to straight it out again!

And how about you?  I’d love to hear about your ‘happy’ in the comments below or tweet me @AllSortsHere using #HighlightsofHappy

Go on, share your happy with me!

  1. Gratitude diaries are so important to happiness. If we can’t be happy with what we have, we will never be happy.
