‘Y’ is for Yes #AtoZChallenge

Have you ever stopped to think about what happens when you say ‘yes’ and ‘no’?

When we pronounce it with effort, our mouths naturally widen and then form something of a smile when we say ‘yes’.

When we say ‘no’ our mouths naturally narrow and almost close up, doing the opposite of smile.

Smiles tend to be more contagious.

So, let’s smile more and say ‘yes’!

This post is for ‘Y‘ in the #AtoZChallenge.

  1. Saying yes is much easier and fun. I think I say yes too many times, as in taking on too much work sometimes. No can be good, too, when a lot of thought is given to the word prior to utterance. But yes simply sounds better. 🙂

  2. I am a people pleaser so I probably say yes to way too many things and get overwhemed because I try to do it all, all the time. I need to learn the word no and as I get older I really am getting better at it. But it’s a learning process. lol Thanks for linking up to Share With Me #sharewithme
